The museum is located in two buildings:
* in the outhouse of the Boratynskyis` town estate of a floor area of about 462 square feet (138.6 sqm). It was restored in 1990; * in School № 34 of a floor area of about 666 square feet ( 200 sqm). The main building of the Boratynskyis` town estate is located not far from the outhouse. It is a monument of architecture and Russian history. It is protected by Government. In 2002 the restoration of it and the whole Boratynskyis` estate began in Kazan. The museum has: * the Exposition `Life of E.Boratynskyi and his literature works` is located at the premise of school № 34; |

Jalil was beheaded in 1944 in Berlin for his underground anti-fascist activity in "Idel-Ural" Legion. He became Hero of the USSR, Lenin Prize laureate (posthumous titles). He was awarded by Literary Prize in 1957 for the cycle of poems "Moabit notebook".
The museum occupies 2 adjacent apartments, one of them is memorial. The whole floor area of museum is 126,2 sqm. |

"Sharif Kamal (1884-1942) is an outstanding writer, classic of the tatar Soviet literature, and a public man. The museum was opened in 1950. The presently existing exposition was opened in 1980. A memorial apartment of the writer was reconstructed. The museum is based on the memorial collection of Sharif Kamal, handed to the museum by the daughter of the tatar writer. The museum occupies a part of the former private merchant residence of the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. In the exhibition personal things of the writer, photos and some documents, reflecting the basic events of his life, literary and public activity, and also editions of his works are shown. A grand piano, bought by Sharif Kamal in 1938, is interesting, because some well-known tatar musicians used to play it, among them Salyh Saydashev - the founder of tatar professional music. Annually on February 28th and on December 22nd some literary events are held in memory of Sharif Kamal." (Russian Museums, corrected)

"The National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened in April 1895 in the building of the Hotel court yard, constructed at the beginning of 19th century on the project of an architect F. Emelyanov.
It is based on the exhibits of a scientific- industrial exhibition of 1890 and the collection of historian, archeologist and collector À. Likhachev. Today the museum stores about 800 000 objects, among which are unique archeological, numismatic, ethnographic collections, based on history and culture of the Tatar people, collection of rare books and manuscripts, natural science fund and so on. Konstantin Vasilyev (1942-1976) is a famous Russian artist, whose creative heritage contains more than 400 paintings and engravings. Among his works are portraits, landscapes, surrealistic compositions, mythological and battle pieces.
From 1949 he lived in the settlement of Vasilyev under Kazan. He was buried in the settlement of Vasilyev. The museum was opened in 1996. The museum occupies a part of a wooden house, where Vasilyev lived from 1956 till 1976. Pictures, personal things of the artist and his family, some documents, books and photos are exhibited here.
