Nestled alongside the River Tees, Preston Hall Museum and Park offers a great day out for all the family. From a stroll in Quarry Wood Nature Reserve to a circuit around the new Adventure Play area, there is plenty to explore during your visit.
The Museum itself is currently undergoing an exciting major redevelopment to restore and refurbish the original building, whilst a complete re-display will showcase the Museum's varied collection. To enable these works, the Museum is now closed, but will reopen in Summer 2012 with all three phases of the ambitious £6.6million redevelopment complete. |
