The museum is located 200 m from the main road.

In summer of 1996, in Rudolph's a small museum was opened . The permanent exhibition offers visitors a silver mining tour to a reconstructed mine as well as mine maps, documents, geological samples, models of mining machinery, a collection of mining lamps and more. The exhibition will be extended continuously with new exhibits. It is based at the former kindergarten.

The museum is in the building of the former Archbishop Chateau. There is an exposition of regional history and rafting. There is also a unique exposition of moldavites and children may enjoy the exposition called “The world of Marionettes” where they can try to make their own marionette performance.

The City Tower forms part of Virgin Mary´s Ascension Church which is assumed to have been built in the 14th century, during the Gothic period. The overall appearance of the Tower has remained practically unchanged since early 19th century. The Tower measures 68,3 m, after climbing 153 steps to its 7th floor, visitors will find themselves at 512,7 m above sea level and view the town from a height at 35 m.

The Museum of Jindrichuv Hradec, founded in 1882, has been in its present-day site on Balbin Square (Balbínovo námestí), in the renaissance building of a former Jesuit Seminar, since 1927. Among the outstanding exhibits of its valuable collections are: the largest mechanical folk-art nativity scene, named Krýza´s Creche after its maker, a singular collection of predominantly Gothic sculptures, and a unique assortment of painted sharpshooter targets and target-shooting weapons. The level of sill of professional guilds is displayed in our collection of ornate items and clocks. The parlor of Emmy Destinn is dedicated to the commemoration of this world-famous opera singer of local descent. An exhibition of books manifests the rich tradition of scripture and book publishing in this region, while the oldest history is documented by archeological finds. The exposition The apohecary of Virgin Mary, the helpful has been compiled from the furnishing of a historic apothecary found in J. Hradec. Life of people in 19th century is displayed in new exposition Middle-class´es and folk´s culture. Religious artefact, fine arts and furniture are exhibited in upper gallery.
