The Open-air Museum in Maribo is part of Lolland-Falsters Stiftsmuseum. It is situated at Bangs Have on a beautiful site down to the lake of Maribo Sø.
The Open-air Museum was created in the 1920s and 1930s, providing an impression of the peasant culture and architectural styles of the decades around 1800 on Lolland-Falster. The museum comprises about ten houses, a farm, a post mill and a school that features an exhibition on the history of the village schools. |
