Ilciukai School Museum

The initiator of this ethnographical museum was the teacher Palmyra Sirvydyte. With the help of local ethnographers, she collected a number of valuable exhibits. After the privatization of the school’s premises, the museum was transferred from Ilciukai to Uzpaliai in 1994, and its exhibits were included into the museum of Uzpaliai region - ‘Dausuva’.

The exposition presents religious clothes, old religious books, and household’s articles of Uzpaliai area and the material about the famous people of the area.
 

Memorial Museum of Professor A. Kavolelis

"In Sudeikiai Main School (Utena district) a would-be scholar, the professor Antanas Kavolelis (7/17/1938 - 6/21/1987) had received his education. In this school, the widow of the professor, Mrs. Kavoleliene established his memorial museum, which displays many personal belongings of the professor. " (Museums of Lithuania)

Utena Local Lore Museum

"The Museum features family photographs, books, domestic objects, furniture and craftworks of Miskinis family. It includes memorial exposition dedicated to the poet Antanas Miskinis and the interpreter Motiejus Miskinis. Homestead also includes three poles of sacral folk sculpture. Daugailiai Area History Museum

"Established in Daugailiai Main School in 1988, the museum stands out from the rest of the district’s public museums as the richest in its equipment and the number of accumulated exhibits. The museum was founded by the teacher R. Jurkeviciene, the school’s headmaster S. Dervinis, and the priest of Daugailiai parish, P. Baltuska. For many years, teachers and pupils have been collecting the exhibits. Also, a number of the displayed objects are being contributed to the museum by the country-people and their family members living abroad. The museum’s interior was designed by V.Zaranka, an architect of Leliunai origin, and equipped by Vilnius Art Enterprise. " (Museums of Lithuania)

"The museum opened in 1960 in the village of Niuronys, the birthplace of the writer Jonas Biliunas (1879-1907). It displays Biliunas family furniture and household articles, and the writer’s books.
